Call: GC-I³ Paper of the year 2020

In 2020 the Health Campus Immunology, Infectiology and Inflammation is again calling for submissions for the "GC-I³ Paper of the year". Please apply until the 31^st of January 2021. We are going to award three prizes (worth 1000 €, 500 € and 250 €, respectively) and we are looking forward to your applications!

The following conditions apply:

• The paper has to have been published or officially accepted in 2020 (no later than the 31^st of December 2020).
• The submitted publication has to be a peer-reviewed original work (no case reports, reviews, letters to the editor etc.).
• The applicant must be first author (or first authors) of the publication.
• The publication must have been primarily produced in a facility that is part of the GC-I³.
• At the time of applying the applicant has to be working at the OVGU.
• The submitted publication has to bear reference to the aims and topics of the GC-I³.

To apply, please send the following documents by E-Mail to Dr. Martina Beyrau until the 31^st of January 2021: a complete PDF of the publication and a short explanation why the publication is especially impactful and how it is in line with the aims and topics of the GC-I³ (max. 300 words).

All applications that fulfill the stated criteria will be invited to present their paper in 2021 during a symposium "GC-I³ Paper of the year 2020". Based on these short presentations a jury will pick the three best publications during this symposium.
